The Society is committed to give financial help to the needly intelligent students getting vocational education without any distinction of caste, creed, religion or domivile. The Society has disbursed a sum of Rs. Three and Half Crore to 12,500 student upto 31-3-2026.

Applications for scholarsgips are on the increase and the need for raising the amount per scholarships is also increasinly being felt. For meeting this situation we seek your cooperation for dealing with the ever rising requirement of financial help to the needy students. Voluntary public contributions are the sole source of funds for the Society.

We invite you to join the Society as its:

• Patron Member : By paying one time subscription of Rs. 15,000/-

                        or

• Life Member : By paying one time subscription of Rs.7500/

                        or

• Annual Member : By paying Annual subscription of Rs. 1500/

At Guru Harkrishan Educational Society, Chandigarh, we believe that the financial constraint should never be the sealing for a bright mind. Every year, hundred of exceptionally meritorious students gain admission into professional Courses like Engineering (Degree/Diploma/ITI)), Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Teacher Education etc. through sheer hard work. However, many are forced to drop out because they can not bridge the gap between their dreams and their bank accounts.
We are looking for the compassionate individuals to “Adopt the Scholar”. By supporting a student you are not just paying for a degree, you are lifting an entire family out of poverty and contributing to the intellectual capital of our nation.
Our Non-Profit NGO, the Guru Harkrishan Educational Society has so far supported more than 12,000 students (irrespective of Religion, Caste, Creed, Gender and Domicile) with a sum of about Rs. 3,50,000,00/- (Rs. Three and a half Crores only).
