Identification of students

Students are required to apply through the head of the institution in which they are studying. Besides the issue of a press note in daily papers, registrars of all the universities in the northern region and heads of professional institutions are directly addressed, well in advance, along with the prescribed application form for identifying the deserving candidates.
They can also recommend cases for the grant of scholarships on special grounds such as physical disability, orphans, fatherless status, extreme poverty, or any other strong compassionate consideration in relaxation of any of the eligibility criteria.
The applications, authenticated by the head of the institution for the current academic year, are required to reach the society at least 30 days prior to the last date.

Quantum of Scholarship

The value of each scholarship is determined by two primary factors: the tuition fees payable by the student and the total funds available for disbursement. As a charitable trust, the Society relies entirely on voluntary public donations. Because these resources are limited and the Society receives no financial grants from the government or other organizations, the scholarship amount may vary.

Mode of payment

Scholarship funds are disbursed directly through the Head of the Institution. To ensure transparency and compliance, the Society requires actual payee receipts duly authenticated by the Head of the Institution for all disbursed amounts.

Sanction of Application

Applications that meet the prescribed eligibility parameters are reviewed and sanctioned by the Governing Council. Scholarships are awarded on a “First-Come, First-Served” basis for the duration of the full academic year. Please note that all sanctions remain at the sole discretion of the Society and are strictly subject to the availability of funds.
