The Society honours Toppers with awards for their academic excellence. The object is to inculcate a spirit of hard work for study amongst the students. These awards are given to Topper students of the selected faculties of a number of Universities/ Institutions. Income of the Parents of the Topper is no bar for this Award. The main features of the scheme are
- The scheme is operated in the area of academic jurisdiction of the Punjab University, Chandigarh, Punjabi University, Patiala; Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana; Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana; Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Shi Fatehgarh Sahib, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Dr. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences Rohtak, Punjab Technical University Jalandhar/Giani Zail Singh PTU Campus Bathinda, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot; Thaper University Patiala, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh, Punjab School Education Board Mohali and Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Chandigarh.
- The Universities and Institutions involved have been requested to give this information in their book of information/prospectus for the selected courses. The Universities/Institutions communicate the names and addresses of topper students to the Society each year.
- The prizes are awarded in the form of cash along with a certificate of ROLL OF HONOUR at a specially held ' SANMAN SAMAROH' function in April every year at Chandigarh at the hands of a dignitary present as Chief Guest.
