The Society also seeks sponsorship of scholarships. A donor can sponsor a scholarship of any amount on year to year basis or on perennial basis. In the former case the entire amount received is passed on to a needy student as scholarship. By paying only Rs. 300/- a month (just Rs. 10/- a day) to the Society on quarterly/six monthly or yearly basis, a donor can sponsor such a scholarships @ Rs.300/- per month for any length of period.
For perennial sponsorship of scholarship lump sum donation of Rs. 20,000/- leads to the setting up of one scholarship @ Rs. 100/- per month forever. Any increase in donation leads to a proportionate increase in the per month amount of scholarships; e.g. a donation of Rs. 60000/- will increase the amount of scholarship to Rs. 300/- p.m. Any number of scholarships can be sponsored in this manner. The donation amount is invested as a part of the capital corpus of the society for meeting the scholarship liability for ever. Scholarships set up in this manner are published in the souvenir every year.
The name of the sponsorer is communicated to the institution where the beneficiary student availing the sponsored scholarship is studying and vice-versa particulars of the student are intimated to the donor.
